Abstract

The constructed wetland as a kind of sewage disposal method with energy-saving and economical is especially suitable for the sewage disposal of the town and uptown. This paper has carried on preliminary research to the constructed wetland in getting rid of the organic matter and nutriment. When hydraulic loading was 4.8cm/d,the average removal rates of chemical oxygen demand(COD) by batch-flow and continuous-flow constructed wetland was 78% and 64% respectively. The average removal rates of Ammonia-nitrogen(NH_4-N) was 60% and 44% respectively. Both of the average removal rates of total-phosphorus(TP) were 53%.The results indicated that the content of oxygen in the constructed wetland has greater influence to get rid of efficiency on the wetland.
