Abstract

Objective To explore the changes of serum SOD,LPO and GSH-PX levels in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases(COPD) and the clinical significance. Methods The study selected 33 patients with COPD as the experiment group and 35 healthy people as the control group. The levels of serum SOD,LPO and GSH-PX were detected by RIA and biochemical method. Results The levels of serum SOD and GSH-PX were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the controls, but the level of LPO was higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.01).The level of serum SOD was positively correlated with GSH-PX(γ=0.6138,P0.01),and negatively correlated with LPO(γ=-0.4384,P0.01).Conclusion The levels of serum SOD,LPO and GSH-PX are closely correlated to the severity of COPD.
