Experimental investigation on shallow water rapidity of new ship form-automotive barge in Chishui River

Aiming at two motor lighters,one is an existing and excellent ship with tunnel stern hull form in Chishui river which is called contrast ship,the other one is a ship with split stern hull form developed by Wuhan University of Technology which is called design ship,this text carried on an experiment research of shallow water resistance and propulsion performance at different water depths and different loading conditions.This text also investigated the influence of ship type,water depth and loading condition variety to shallow water resistance performance of ships and gave some beneficial conclusions.
