Abstract
Objective To investigate the possible losing model of neurons in SNc during the development of Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods Using special-dyeing and TUNEL techniques, the changes of apoptosis, the course of Dopaminergic (DA) neurons in SNc and the change of behavior were observed after stereoscopically injecting 6-OHDA to right side of the medial forebrain bundle (MFB).Results The rotation rate in PD rat model was increased with the decrease of the DA neurons in SNc.Apoptosis was the main losing mode of DA neurons in PD.It was found that the high peak took place within 2 weeks after lesion. Conclusions The study showed that apoptotsis could be found in subtantia nigra neurons in 6-OHDA induced PD model rats, which may play a key role in the development of Parkinson's diseaes.
