Abstract
OBJECTIVE To understand the status of hand hygiene of the medical staff so as to improve the hand hygiene compliance of the medical staff as well as the management of correct hand washing.METHODS By means of the randomized examination,the hand hygiene compliance and the correctness of hand washing of the medical staff were investigated before and after the enhancement of the hand hygiene management.RESULTS After the enhancement of hand hygiene management,the hand hygiene compliance of the medical staff increased from 43.23% to 68.32%,the correctness of hand washing increasing from 25.00% to 38.61%.The hand hygiene compliance and the correctness of hand washing of the medical staff were generally low,which were higher in the nurses than in the doctors.CONCLUSION Taking the corresponding interventions can improve both the compliance and correctness of hand hygiene of the medical staff,but the medical staff need to adhere to the strict management.
