Abstract
Matrix glycoprotein gene of a Infectious Bronchitis Virus(IBV) isolated from China was cloned and sequenced using Reverse Transcription_polymerase Chain Reaction(RT-PCR) method. Comparative analysis of the M gene with other IBV strains showed that it shared 85%_92% identity with foreign IBV strains and 90%_92% similar to other Chinese IBV strains. The other Molecular Characterizations of this matrix glycoprotein gene were just the same as other IBV isolates.
