Abstract
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Modified Pipa Qingfei Yin(MPQY) and Supplemented Diandao San(SDS) to treat acne. Methods 80 patients were randomly assigned to two groups. The 40 patients in the treatment group were treated with oral MPQY plus topical SDS,the other 40 in the control group treated with oral Erythromycin Enteric-coated Capsules plus topical Adapalene Gel.The treatment course of 2 groups was 4 weeks. Results The total effective rates in the treatment group and the control group were 92.5% and 87.5%,with no significant difference(P0.05).The recurrence rates were 5.3% and 25.8% in treatment group and control group, with statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion Treating acne with MPQY and SDS has good efficacy, low recurrence rate and less adverse reaction.
