Developing peasant sport by basing its center on small town community sport

The authors put forward the basic ideas for developing peasant sport by basing on small town community sport as the key to breakthrough.The rural and urban excessive labor forces absorbing as well as surrounding villages converging,influencing and boosting functions of the locational advantage and advanced basic facilities of small towns have decided the important position of small towns in peasant sport.The authors suggested that the government should create favorable conditions and atmosphere for developing peasant sport,speed up the construction and perfection of supporting small towns and sport organization networks for rural areas,cultivate sports backbones,utilize the sports capital of local schools,enterprises and institutions,and guide peasants to utilize local characteristics and resources to develop featured sports activities.
