Reflections on the Issue of Peasants' Sport in China

By means of literature reviews and field investigation, the authors of this paper have discussed the significance of developing peasants' sport by analyzing the current situation of peasants' sport in China and put forward some methods to improve peasants' sport. Four solutions have been proposed, which include providing good conditions and environment for developing peasants' sport by the government, establishing sports organizations and networks based on small towns and rural areas ,training personnel and staff of sports, utilizing sports resources of local schools, enterprises and institutions and helping peasants to develop sport events with distinctive regional features.
