Abstract
Objective:To explore the pathogenesis and mechanism of preeclampsia. Methods:The gene expressions of IL-4 mRNA and INF-γ mRNA in placental tissues of patients with preeclampsia were detected. Results:The expression of IL-4 mRNA in normal pregnancy group, mild preeclampsia group and severe preeclampsia group decreased with the aggravation of disease, but there was no significant difference among the three groups (P0.05);the expression of IFN-γ mRNA increased with the aggravation of disease, there was significant difference between severe preeclampsia group and normal pregnancy group, mild preeclampsia group (P0.05);the expression of IFN-γ mRNA in mild preeclampsia group was higher than that in normal pregnancy group, but there was significant difference (P0.05);the ratio of INF-γ mRNA/IL-4 mRNA increased with the aggravation of disease, and there was significant difference among the three groups (P0.05).Conclusion:The high expression of IFN-γ mRNA which plays a role immune killing and the normal expression of IL-4 mRNA which plays a role immune protection or immune nutrition in placental tissues of patients with preeclampsia indicate that the high expression of IFN-γ mRNA at maternal-fetal interface is related to pathogenesis of preeclampsia and the effect of IL-4 mRNA on occurrence and development of preeclampsia is not obvious;the ratio of INF-γ mRNA/IL-4 mRNA increases with the aggravation of disease, which indicated that Th1/Th2 cytokines imbalance may be one of the causes of preeclampsia.
