Analysis of Factors Influencing Farmers' Willingness for Safety of Agricultural Production

Based on the micro panel data of 986 households in 100 administrative villages of five typical agricultural production provinces of Henan,Shandong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Heilongjiang,this paper explores farmer subjective cognition,attitude and behavior towards safety of agricultural production by using binary Logistic model.The results show that the factors like farmers' age,marital status,work experience,land size,agricultural production primary use,prices of pesticides have positive impact on farmers' behavior of production safety,while farmers' gender,family size,family income,expected price of main agricultural products are not significant.The proportion of income from farming in family's total income has complex influence on farmers' safety behavior,which shows different significance at different levels.
