Short-Term Triple Therapy with Rabeprazole in Eradicating Helicobacter Pylori and Treating Duodenal Ulcer

Objective To observe the curative effect of rabeprazole,clarithromycin and amoxicillin short-term triple therapy for duodenal ulcer with positive Helicobacter pylori(Hp).Methods 80 cases of duodenal ulcer patients with Hp infection were randomly divided into two groups,Group A(n=50) was administrated with rabeprazole 10 mg,clarithromycin 500 mg and amoxicillin 1 000 mg for 7 days,bid.per oral,while Group B(n=30) with rabeprazole 10 mg,clarithromycin 500 mg and amoxicillin 1 000 mg for 7 days,bid,per oral,and additional rabeprazole for 21 days,bid,per oral.Hp was tested after by endoscopy on the fifth weekends.Results The Hp eradication rate,active ulcer healing rate,symptom remission rate and the incidence of adverse reactions was 78%,94%,100%,6% in group A and 83.3%,96.6%,100.0%,6.6% in group B.There was no statistical difference between the two groups.Conclusions The curative effect of Rabeprazole,Clarithromycin,amoxicillin short-term triple therapy for duodenal ulcer with positive Hp is notable.
