Abstract
Objective:To observe and compare the curative effect of rabeprasole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin triple therapy of one week and two weeks for duodenal ulcer with Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection.Methods:72 cases of duodenal ulcer patients with Hp infection were randomly divided into two groups,Group A(n=36)was administrated with rabeprazole 10 mg for two weeks, clarithromycin 500 mg and amoxicillin 1 000 mg for 7 days, bid.per oral, while Group B(n=36)with rabeprasole 10 mg,clarithromycin 500 mg and amoxicillin 1 000 mg all for two weeks, bid, per oral. Hp was tested after by gastric endoscopy on the sixth weekends. Results:The Hp eradication rate, active ulcer healing rate was 91.6%(33/36)and 80.5%(29/36)in group A and 94.4%(34/36)and 86.1%(31/36)in group B.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusions:The difference of curative effect of Rabeprazole -based triple therapy for duodenal ulcer with positive Hp between one week with two weeks was not notable. But one week treatment was more economical and with less side effects when compared with two weeks treatment.
