Solutions to the semi-urbanization of farmer workers in China

Abstract

The matters of farmer workers play an important role in the development of economy and society in China so that it is the strategic task in building socialism with Chinese characteristics to well-handle these matters.It is analyzed that the trend of becoming citizens has appeared in the long-term development of farmer workers and explored the contradiction between farmer workers' trend of becoming citizens and their semi-urbanization.Accordingly an integrated approach of turning away from farming,urbanization and becoming citizens is proposed to solve the matters of farmer workers.
