Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the cognition level of AIDS KPI among nursing students in District Medical School. METHODS Questionnaire wos used to investigate AIDS related knowledge among nursing students in Xinjiang. Main surveys were nursing students in Urumqi, Kashi and Yili region. RESULTS The study received a total of 1 843 copies of valid questionnaires, efficiency 94.76%. The cognition of AIDS-related knowledge's statistically significant differences exist in the different locations, different nationalities, and different academic levels of nursing student. Through this investigation that nursing student's knowledge on AIDS comes mainly from radio and television. CONCLUSION Nursing students with a certain degree of expertise on HIV/AIDS, but there are still some misunderstanding; select nursing students like ways to increase the knowledge of AIDS propaganda; nursing students as the main force of the AIDS peer education for college students.
