Abstract

[Objective]This study aimed to explore the changes of noise figure,radiation dose accepted by the patients and image quality with the application of automatic mA technology of whole abdominal CT scanning.[Methods]40 patients of adult full abdominal examination were randomly divided into 4 groups,A group used the conventional abdominal scan parameters as a reference group,B,C,D group used the automatic mA scanning technology;the average mAs,CTDIvol and DLP were recorded in each group.[Results]The radiation dose under auto mA scan decreased significantly compared with conventional parameters.The noise figure was higher,the scanning dose was lower,then image quality reduced.[Conclusion]The appropriate noise index mA under whole abdominal CT scan can automatically ensure image quality,but also significantly reduce the acceptable radiation dose in patients.
