Abstract
Objective: To explore clinical of modified XuanBiTang and ErMiaoSan in treating rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Method: Seventy patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Treatment group received modified XuanBiTang and ErMiaoSan based on syndrome differentiation and treatment, control group were administered with routine western medicine.Incidence of adverse reaction and clinical effects before and after treating were observed after treating for eight weeks.Result: Total effective rate of treatment group was 94.29%,higher than 74.29% of control group with statistical meaning(P0.05);comparison between both groups suggested difference in incidence of adverse events and it indicated no statistical meaning(P0.05).Conclusion: Modified XuanBiTang and ErMiaoSan are effective in treating rheumatoid arthritis significantly freeing from side effects.
