Exploration for Creating Low-impact Development Stormwater Management Demonstration Area in Shenzhen

Abstract

Guangming New District,Shenzhen,is the first city to implement the low impact development(LID) stormwater management in China.The stormwater management goal,technologies,implementation method and corresponding policy guarantee measures suitable for the new district were explored.The exploration and practice of LID stormwater management in the new district were studied,and the stormwater management goal,control parameters,technologies and policy guarantee measures were analyzed.The exploration and practice of LID stormwater management in Guangming New District can provide reference and guidance for other cities in China.
