Analysis and Inspiration of Stormwater Management Policies in New Zealand

Except the technique support, a perfect stormwater utilization system and the management measures are necessary to develop the stormwater utilization. The stormwater utilization and management policies applied in New Zealand, such as responsibilities for stormwater infrastructure, effects from private works position statement, approved stormwater outfall policy, stormwater disposal policy, stormwater hazards and overland flow position statement, stream management position statement were introduced. The stormwater management in New Zealand, including the flood management, stream management and the contamination management were also introduced. Based on analyzing the current stormwater utilization policies in New Newland, suggestions on urban stormwater management in China were proposed.
