Abstract
Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy of S-adenomethionine on the treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B.Methods: 98 cases of Chronic Hepatitis B were retrospectively analysed. The change of TBIL level with S-adenomethionine in different dosages were also detected. Results: Use of S-adenosylmethionine treatment group(1.0) in patients with severe chronic hepatitis B has better effect and patients with liver failure had no effect on serum bilirubin level compared with the control group. The TBIL levels in hyperbilirubinemai treating with 2.0 g/d of S-adenomethionine declined to 1.0 g/d(P0.05) in the treatment of Severe chronic hepatitis. Conclusions: S-adenomethionine can effectively reduce serum bilirubin level in patients with severe chronic hepatitis B.
