Abstract
use of sodium hydrogen sulphate as catalyst on the esterification reaction of isoamyl hexanoate was studied The suitable conditions have been found The optimum condition are selected as following :The weight of catalyst is 0 2*!g/0 1*!mol hexanoic acid ,the mole ratio of alchol to acid is 1 5∶1 and the reaction time is 1 5*!h The esterification of hexanoic acid is about 99 39% Experimental results showed that sodium hydrogen sulphate is a good catalyst of this esterification reaction ,with high catalytic activity, the used little amount, the good esterification , little waste discarged and low price It is very valuable in practice
