Abstract
Objective To probe into the effect of esmolol in induced intubation response for elderly hypertensive patients with coronary artery disease. Methods Selected February 2010 to February 2012,97 elderly hypertensive patients with coronary heart disease in our hospital for elective anesthesia. The patients were divided into study group, which has 45 cases, and control group, which has 42 cases randomly.Control group were treated with propofol, fentanyl and atracurium for the induction of anesthesia. While patients in study group used propofol, fentanyl atracurium and esmolol. Comparative analysis of the clinical data and HR,SBP,DBP,MAP changes during induction of anesthesia. Results HR,SBP,DBP and MAP of patients after intubation in two groups were increased.Compared with control group, the patients used esmolol in study group 1min,3min and 5min after intubated,HR,SBP,DBP and MAP were significantly reduced.there was significant differences(P 0.05).Conclusions Esmolol has a significant role in the prevention for induced intubation response for elderly hypertensive patients with coronary artery disease. It suits further extensive promotion use for clinical.
