Abstract

[Objective] To investigate a new technique for the treatment of bladder stones. [Methods] Bladder stones were treated with Ho: YAG laser lithotripsy by resectoscope. [Results] All the bladder stones patients were treated on one session. No major haemorahage, perforation of the bladder or water intoxication happened intraoperatively or postoperatively, the general results were satisfactory. [Conclusions] Treatment of bladder stones with Ho: YAG laser lithotripsy by resectoscope is an effective and safe method.
