Huatan Zhuyu Tongmai granule combined with simvastatin in the treatment of carotid artery plaque

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Huatan Zhuyu Tongmai granule combined with simvastatin in the treatment of carotid artery plaque. Methods Select the line with carotid artery plaque and TCM phlegm and blood stasis diagnostic criteria 60 patients,were randomly divided into 2 groups,30 cases each group. Treatment group was given Huatan Zhuyu Tongmai granule combined with simvastatin orally,control group was given oral simvastatin.Compare the clinical efficacy,2 groups of IMT changes,blood lipid changes and adverse reaction after 6 months treatment. Results After treatment,the treatment group in the IMT and the changes of blood lipids significantly improved compared with before treatment,and the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group improved,the total efficiency rate was 93. 33% higher than that of control group's 70. 0%. Conclusion There is good clinical curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with small dose of simvastatin in the treatment of carotid artery plaque,and its adverse reaction rate was decreased.
