Effect of irbesartan combined with nifedipine on 30 cases of hypertension

Objective To explore the clinical effect of irbesartan combined nifedipine treatment hypertension.Methods All of 60 patients with essential hypertension were divided into treatment group and control group,each of 30 cas es,the control group was given nifedipine sustained-release tablets 10-20 mg oral treatment,2 times a day while ob servation group on the basis of the control group was given irbesartan 75 mg orally once a day of 4 weeks,the SBP,DBP changes and adverse reactions were compared before and after treatment.Results Before treatment,the two groups of patients with SBP,DBP showed no significant difference,after 4 weeks of treatment,the two groups of patients with SBP,DBP respectively compared with before treatment decreased significantly,and the observation group decreased more significant than the control group,blood pressure decreased more significantly(P 0.05).The efficiency of the observation group(93.3%) was significantly higher than the control group(73.3%),there was a significant difference be tween two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Irbesartan treatment of hypertension antihypertensive effect of nifedipine than medication alone,and it is a safe,effective treatment,it is worth further promote the use of clinical efficacy.
