Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical significance of laparoscopic repair for inguinal hernia. Methods: We analyzed 12 cases of inguinal hernia treated by laparoscopic repair from Feb. 2005 to Sep. 2006 in our hospital Results: Operations were completed without conversion,without serious complication,hydrops of residual sac occurred in 2 cases. All cases were followed up for 3-20 months. There was 1 case of recurrence. Conclusion: Laparoscopic repair for inguinal hernia is a safty reliable operation.
