Abstract

Effects of differently-concentrations of Zn~(2+) on membrane lipid peroxidation and activity of endogenous protective enzymes in tartary buckwheat(Fagopyrum tataricum) were studied. The results showed that with the increase of Zn~(2+),MDA in roots was firstly decreased and then increased while MDA in leaf increased. The activity of catalase(CAT)and POD in leaf and the activity of superoxide dismutatase(SOD) were gradually increased, but the activity of peroxidase (POD)in roots was decreased and the activity of cytochrome-oxidase(CO)was firstly increased and then decreased.
