Abstract

Effects of the different concentration of Fe3+on membrane lipid peroxidation and activity of endogenous protective enzymes in tratary buckwheat(Fagopyrum tataricum(L.) Gaerth) were studied. The results showed that with the increase of the concentration of Fe3+,the contents of MDA in roots decreased at first then increased, the contents of MDA in leaves increased gradually;the activity of catalase(CAT) increased;the activity of peroxidase(POD) in roots increased then decreased, but the activity of POD in leaves increased;the activity of superoxide dismutatase(SOD) increased at first then decreased in roots, but increased in leaves;and the activity of cytochrome-oxidase(CO) decreased.
