Abstract
Objective To evaluation of efficacy and economic of domestic and imported ceftazidime in the treatment of acute pneumonia. Method 70 patients with acute pneumonia were divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group received the imported ceftazidime, while the control group received the domestic ceftazidime. Results The difference of curative effect between two groups had no statistical significance (P 0.05). No serious adverse reaction was found in the two groups. The price of domestic ceftazidime was lower than that of imported ceftazidime. Conclusion Both domestic ceftazidime and imported ceftazidime are effective in the treatment of acute pneumonia, but domestic ceftazidime is more economic.
