B-Lynch Suture for Postpartum Hemorrhage in Cesarean Section Operations

Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of B-Lynch suture for the treatment of intractable postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section operations.Methods A retrospective analysis was used to explore eight cases of intractable postpartum hemorrhage managed by B-Lynch suture during September 2005 to September 2007.Results All patients had been rescued.The bleeding symptoms were successfully controlled,the uterus hysterectomy was avoided and no side effects were found after the operation.Conclusions B-Lynch suture is a safe and effective method to treat uterine atony in cesarean section postpartum hemorrhage,and merits more and more attention.
