Abstract
A new catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace copper(Ⅱ) is studied. It is based on the catalyzed oxidation of manganese(Ⅱ) by ammonium persulfate in the medium of H 2SO 4. The linear range of the determination is 0~5.0 mg/50 mL, the detection limit is 3.56×10~(-8) g/L, and the linear regression equation is ΔA=4.642 8ρ(mg/50 mL)+ 0.010 75, the correlation coefficient is 0.994 8. The method has been applied to the determination of trace copper in copper samples with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
