Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of edaravone in the treatment of cerebral thrombosis. Methods 94 patients with cerebral thrombosis were divided into two groups, with 47 cases in each group. The patients in the control group received intravenous drip of saline 100 mL, twice a day, 14 days for a course. The patients in the treatment group received intravenous drip of edaravone 30 mg diluted with saline 100 mL and finished within 30 minutes, twice a day, 14 days for a course. The efects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate was 87.23% of the control group, and 95.74% of the treatment group; the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p0.05). Conclusions Edaravone can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and signs of the patients with cerebral thrombosis, promote the recovery of neural function. Its clinical effect is significant without adverse reactions.
