Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the content changes of b-FGF,CD34 in local muscle tissue homogenate of rabbit with the third lumbar vertebral transverse process syndrome and study the intervention mechanism of acupotomy lysis for revascularization of local tissues.METHODS 30 Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into normal group, model group, acupotomy lysis(AL) group,electro-acupunture(EA) group and AL+EA group, each group 6 rabbits. The model in rabbits with the third lumbar vertebrae transverse process syndrome was established by inserting a piece of gelatin sponge into the posterior of the left 3rd lumbar vertebrae transverse process.AL group and EA group are used acupotomy lysis and EA therapy applied to BL40 of both sides, while AL+EA group used the two treatments. The content changes of b-FGF and CD34 in muscle tissue homogenate of rabbits were tested by double sandwich enzyme-linked immunoab sorbant assay(ELISA).RESULTS In model group, the content of b-FGF in muscle tissue homogenate increased significantly than normal while content of CD34 decreased(P0.01);the contents of b-FGF,CD34 in muscle tissue homogenate of AL group,EA group and AL+EA group have no statistically significant differences compared with normal group(P0.05).The contents of b-FGF of AL group,EA group and AL+EA group decreased compared with model group(P0.01),and the contents of CD34 of AL+EA group increased(P0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between AL group,EA group and AL+EA group(P0.05).CONCLUSION Acupotomy lysis can regulate the contents of b-FGF and CD34 in muscle tissue homogenate and have regulation on revascularization of the local tissue.
