Investigation on P.E. Teachers' Identities of Profession Competence under the Background of New Curriculum Reform in Middle Schools

Abstract

The thesis uses questionnaire and interviews to study the identities of profession competence of P.E.teachers under the background of new curriculum reform.The results show that the identities of P.E.teachers are high whereas the competence of reflection,information,scientific research are on the low side.It has warp on identities especially the male P.E.teachers.10% P.E.teachers think that the level of profession competence of whole P.E.teachers is higher than themselves.50.8% P.E.teachers think that the level of profession competence of whole P.E.teachers is lower than themselves.Suggestions are to deepen the training of incumbency P.E.teachers and helping them fulfill the identities and exchanging the profession role.In order to avoid the P.E.teachers excess self-confidence,which affects development of their profession competence,we should establish the standard of P.E.teachers' profession competence.
