Abstract
Objective To analyse expression of PTEN and VEGF-C protein in cervical carcinoma and cervix. Methods Expression of PTEN and VEGFC in 20 normal cervix tissues and 62 cases of cervical cancer were detected by immunohistochemical method. Results The expression of PTEN expression in cervical cancer were significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.01).The expression of VGEF-C expression in cervical cancer were significantly lower than that in normal tissues(P0.01).The expression of PTEN and VEGF-C were correlated to clinical stages, differentiation degree of cancer cells, metastasis(including lymph node)(P0.05).Conclusion The absence of PTEN and VEGF-C is related to cervical carcinogenesis and development.
