Abstract
In the late 19th century and the early 20th century,with the largescale introduction into China of Western theories in historicism,economics,and sociology,some scholars began to study China's conventional academic in the theories and ways of western historicism,economics,and sociology.The conventional academic system in China underwent significant transformations.Some new academic categories began to emerge in the modern academic system of China and formed into an independent subject.It is an important phenomenon of academic development in modern China.The present paper inspects the academic phenomenon carefully,making the emergence of China's economic history studies learning object in the late 19th century and the early 20th century.
