Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin(ASP) on C-reactive protein(CRP) and platelet function in patients with cerebral infarction.Methods 70 patients with cerebral infarction were randomized to either ASP 150 mg·d-1(group Ⅰ) or to ASP 300 mg·d-1(Group Ⅱ),Eight weeks later,CRP and platelet aggregation were tested.Results As compared with baseline values,all the indices changed significantly after treatment(P0.05),There were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion It is suggested that aspirin markedly reduces the serum CRP level and platelet function in patients with cerebral infarction and reduce the risk of cerebral infarction.Biger dosage ASP maybe has better secondary prevention.
