Abstract
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect and toxicity of Shenmai injection treatment for patients with cardio-toxicity of anthracycline. Methods: In a radomized tvlal,82 patients with malignamt tumor who received combined chemotherapy were devided into treatment group (Shenmai injection 50ml+chemotherapy,n=35) and control group(only chemotherapy,n=47). Results: The effective rates of two groups showed no marked difference (treatment group 48.6%, control group 42.6%).Cardio-toxicity was more serious in the control group (P0.05). Leucopenia had very significant differences between two groups (P0.01). Conclusion: Shenmai injection can significantly reduce the side effect caused by chemotherapy of anthracycline, ,reduce the incidence of leuc- openia and cardio-toxicity to sustain the treatment.
