Abstract

Aim: To explore the expression of nm23, MMP-2, TIMP-2 in the breast carcinoma tissue. Methods:The expression of nm23,MMP-2,TIMP-2 in 20 cases of fibroadenoma, 24 cases of ductal carcinoma in situ, and 58 cases of invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast (including 26 cases without lymphatis metastasis and 32 cases with lymphatic metastasis) were detected by the immunohistochemical SP method. Results: The positive rates of nm23, TIMP-2 in breast invasive ductal carcinoma tissues, were higher than those in the fibroadenoma and ductal carcinoma in situ tissue; The positive rate of MMP-2 in breast carcinoma was higher than that in fibroadenoma tissue (P0.05). The positive rates of nm23 of cases with lymphatic metastasis were lower than those of non-lymphatic metastatis cases (P0.05). Conclusion: The unite detection of nm23, MMP-2 and TIMP-2 would contribute to the early diagnosis and prognostic assessment of the breast carcinoma.
