Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical breaking effects of acupuncture and acupuncture medication combination on treating peripheral facial paralysis.Methods:88 patients with peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group(acupuncture medication combined group) 45 cases, control group(acupuncture group) 43 cases, all combined with TDP irradiation. Results:The cure rate and total effective rate were 84.44%,95.56%,and the treatment group of cure rate and total effective rate were 53.495%,88.375%,respectively.Through the compare of cure rate and total effective rate, the difference between the two groups was significant(p0.01).Conclusion:The curative effect of acupuncture medicine combination was better than acupuncture.
