Abstract

Purpose To observe the curative effect of laser plus acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis.Method Fifty cases were treated with laser plus acupuncture with 42 cases treated with simple acupuncture as a control.Results and conclusion There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment and control groups, but the cure rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group.
