Abstract

The article demonstrates connections between competition policy and China's trade policy option and development after China's accession to WTO. Four primary views are brought forward:(1) to transform unique comparative advantages in China to competitive advantage with open policy of promoting competition; (2)Competition policy is starting point for China's trade policy option and development after entry to WTO; (3)Competition policy is not exclusive from trade protection, on basis of which China should implement its moderate trade protection policy; (4)It's helpful to eliminate grayeffects of the developed countryand unfair trade actionon China by way of competition policy being starting point for trade policy making in China.
