Abstract
A new method,termed suppression subtractive hybridization(SSH),has been developed based primarily on the technique suppression PCR and subtractive hybrid.It has many advantages such as high efficiency,high specificity and high sensitivity,and is widely applied in the botany research.This article mainly focuses on the principles,protocol,main advantages and disadvantages,and its application in tobacco research.
