Review on the Centennial Study of Middle Ancient Chinese Vocabulary

Middle ancient Chinese mainly indicates the literary language in Han,Wei and Six Dynasties(汉魏六朝). It becomes a connecting link on study of the history of Chinese language and has important values relying on the colloquial characteristic. The study of mid-ancient Chinese vocabulary was booming in the late period of the last century. Compared with the previous fragmentary research, great progress has been made either in research contents or in methods. But it still has many questions to discuss, such as research depth, scope, concrete tasks and methods.
