Abstract

'Qinguang 8' nectarine(Pranus persica var.nectariana Maxim)is a new mid-ripening nectarine cultivar selected from cross-combination 'Qinguang 2'×'Shuguang'.The fruit development period is 105 days.The fruit shape is round.Its average fruit weight is 187.5 g,the biggest is 240 g.The fruit skin cover deep red color.The flesh is white with cling stone.It tastes sweet and rich flavor with very strong aroma.Soluble solids content is 15%.It has high yield.
