Abstract

It is a new subject to study and practise applied talents training in teaching-service-oriented colleges and universities. What is serious is how to improve the service function of colleges and universities in order to cultivate talents for local economic construction and industry development. Taking computer science major as an example, this paper analyzes the basic characteristics of applied talents training and constructs competency-based training model. A detailed study is carried out on the establishment of teaching and practice base relying on the cooperation of construction, learning and research, and on the double-master team development to ensure the quality of applied talents training.
