Abstract
A hydroponic experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of Cd 2+ on antioxidant enzyme activity and content of MDA of Horsebean. The results showed that when Cd 2+concentration was 0mg/L,5mg/L,10mg/L,20mg/L,30mg/L and 50mg/L,the activity of POD and CAT increased with Cd 2+ increment, while when Cd 2+concentration was over 50mg/L, the activity of POD and CAT decreased. The SOD activity increased with Cd 2+increment up to 80mg/L and MDA content continuously increased with increment of Cd 2+content.
