Abstract
Acrylamide,acrylic acid and ammonia solution were used to synthesize a new flocculating agent by means of inverse emulsion polymerization.Kerosene oil was used as continuous phase and water as dispersed phase.The effects of sorts and dosages of emulsifier,initiator concentration,monomer concentration,dosages of EDTA,reaction temperature on the intrinsic viscosity of the copolymer were studied.The best experimental condition was obtained.The structure of the product was characterized by FTIR.
