Abstract
In this paper,acrylic acid monomer neutralized by ammonia solusion was used to synthesize a new flocculating agent by means of inverse emulsion polymerization,in which kerosene oil was continuous phase and water was disperse phase.The effect of sorts and dosages of emulsifiers,initiators and oil phases,pH value,monomer concentration,reaction temperature on the performance of product was studied.The synthesized products were characterized by FTIR.The best experimental condition has also been determined.
