Abstract

Objective:To analyze the correlation of severity of ACS coronary artery disease and the level of serum hs-CRP,and explore its clinical significance by comparing the levels of hs-CRP of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) and normal healthy adults.Methods:65 cases of ACS were divided into 27 cases of unstable angina(UA group) and 38 cases of acute myocardial infarction(AMI group).65 cases of the normal healthy adults were as control group.Serum hs-CRP was measured with enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay(ITM).Cardiac enzyme was also measured.Coronary angiography was performed in all ACS patients. Results:Serum level of hs-CRP in UA group and AMI group were significantly higher than those in control group. The more severe artery lesions were, the significantly higher of the level of hs-CRP was(P0.05).Pearson relation analysis showed that hs-CRP level was positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery stenosis in ACS patients(P=0.000*,r=0.996).Conclusion:Combined detection of hs-CRP with cardiac enzyme was significant to diagnose unstable angina(UA) and acute myocardial infarction(AMI).hs-CRP was an important diagnosis index for the inflammation of atherosclerosis which may show the severity of coronary artery stenosis.
